Hitler Youth
The Hitler Youth was an organization of the Nazi party. It existed from 1922-1945. It was made up mostly of boys ages 14-18. Beginning in 1936 it was mandatory for all German boys. The organization was seen as a stepping stone into membership of the elite SS (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hitler_Youth).

League of German Girls
The League of German Girls was the female counterpart to the Hitler Youth and was the only female organization in Nazi Germany. In 1939 is was mandatory for girls ages 10-18 who were ethnic Germans, German citizens, and free of hereditary diseases (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/League_of_German_Girls).
